Current Job Openings Chief Information Officer - Corporate Job Description - This position would be responsible for the development, implementation, and identification of the key initiatives of Strategy & Technology, driving business process improvements to deliver change that supports future business requirements, and building positive, open and constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets current and future business needs. Job Requirements: Senior level insurance company experience with deep industry and cross functional knowledge specifically, in IT and insurance operations development, analysis and planning. Strong experience managing an information technology function in a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance organization. Project Management experience in leading at least one major strategic change program covering people, process and technology. Experience in insurance carrier branch systems or MGA systems with setting and managing department budgets. Experience with Claims, Financial and Accounting operations and systems. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree, e.g. Master's of Business Administration (MBA), multi-line property and casualty insurance knowledge including course work or professional industry designations such as CPCU or CIC. PMP designation.
Senior Commercial Underwriter - Dallas, Houston, Shreveport, New Orleans Job Description: Position works independently, within their assigned underwriting authority, towards the production of new business and retention of renewal business. Oversees all aspects of the underwriting job responsibilities. Responsible for enforcing and adhering to all underwriting procedures. Carries out the various underwriting functions of the organization that pertains to commercial property & casualy insurance. Specific Duties: Reviews and analyzes new and renewal underwriting opportunities, including but not limited to: qualifying against underwriting guidelines, review Safer/Safestat/CAB information, Motor Carrier filings, classification of vehicles and business operations, MVR activity, prior loss history and industry trends. Oversees assigned underwriting assistant. Monitors daily Tracking report and ImageRight tasks to ensure all activity is current. Refers accounts outside assigned underwriting authority to General Manager/Underwriting Manager. Declines new accounts to agency when deemed appropriate. Initiates non-renewal procedures and notifies agents of accounts that have fallen short of our underwriting guidelines. Reviews manual rating and experience rating, when applicable, and applies debits and/or credits to arrive at final pricing based upon account characteristics. Maintains good ImageRight documentation outlining underwriter thought process. Maintains ImageRight suspense system for requested information. Reviews Loss Control reports and follows-up with agents regarding concerns. Special assignments from General Manager are complete as required. Job Requirements: Strong background in commercial underwriting. Computer skills, word processing skills, communication skills, commercial underwriting experience to include coverage's, classifcations, rating and insurance terminology.
