Deep South originated as a single office in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1967. The phenomenal growth and success of Deep South over the past decade facilitated the expansion to a multi-state organization that has become an insurance industry leader. In 1998, Deep South opened its Arkansas office to serve the insurance needs of Arkansas and Oklahoma and, in January, 2003, completed filings and licensing in the state of Missouri. Deep South’s Little Rock office now serves Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.

Deep South is a full service office providing marketing, underwriting, policy writing, claims administration and loss control. Its staff of qualified insurance professionals has experience totaling more than 225 years of service to the Property/Casualty insurance agents in Arkansas,Oklahoma and Missouri and now serves approximately 226 agents in three states.

Deep South activity is supported by professional Loss Control Engineers who inspect every account written. Further services can be provided during the policy term, including driver training and participation in safety meetings. Deep South is a select market for preferred commercial auto, commercial liability, garage, property and inland marine accounts.  The Little Rock office offers a full product line to support the ARK/OKLA/MO industrial market including oil and gas, timber/forestry, construction, retailers, wholesalers, manufacturing, municipalities and local/intermediate trucking.

An in-house claims department is located in Deep South’s Little Rock office. All claims are handled by an experienced Deep South Claims staff, providing top quality claims administration to insureds in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
